These designs are preparatory sketches that are perhaps closest to how the final outcome will look. I've talked with my collaborator in LIPA about which style of image he would like for the poster, and while we both agreed that while the first image was perhaps the most interesting, it was also the least suitable according to the brief and the music. The other two sketches are fairly close to the style of artwork that will be on the poster. My contact said he enjoyed the mix of the cleanness of the image with the slight weirdness, which is probably a response to the slightly faux-naive style I have adopted for some of the figures. I think the loose quality gives the images an intrigue and quirkiness.
